I went there knowing that there were no flowers in this area, which is at its best from early summer to summer (lol).
Even though I couldn't see any flowers, I was hoping to see some on the ridgeline of Mt. Sharidake, but unfortunately it was cloudy. I couldn't see the Shiretoko Mountain Range or Mt. Sharidake. As expected, the tourist center was empty, and the clerk was offering a large discount on local specialty kelp, so I bought it. This is a chance for those who like kelp. I don't think it's worth it to go there just for that purpose (lol). However, just looking at the spacious scenery gave me a sense of something out of the ordinary, and that was a good thing. I think it would be possible to drive with a hot spring set.
I went around the primeval flower garden. The large red berries and light purple flowers of the hamanasu were beautiful.

I went on a high school field trip 𓈒 𓏸𓈒𓂂𓂃♡
It was a free walk (> < )♡
The primeval flower garden is good.
We recommend taking a walk and looking at the flowers blooming little by little while feeling the sea breeze from the Sea of Okhotsk.
The adjacent store is the worst.
That place is not a roadside station.
The sales lady recommends this and that.
Who on earth would spend 20,000 yen to buy Ezo deer fur?
A few years ago it was around 10,000 yen.
The store will close on October 15th.
It is expected to reopen in April next year.
Although it wasn't the season when the flowers were in bloom, the scenery was very nice and I could see Shiretoko and the Akan mountains in the distance.
I visited in mid-September 2023. Although there were a lot of fruits of Hermanus, the flowers were almost out of season, and I only occasionally saw flowers such as Hermanus. However, we were able to see the magnificent scenery of the Sea of Okhotsk coast.
I went to the sea, but it felt different from the sea in Chiba Prefecture ❗ It feels kind of scary 😅 …
It was the end of September and the flowers had almost finished blooming. I imagine it would be beautiful from spring to summer. There is a station there and it is quaint.
